What would i need for 2 doors?
If you are wanting it for 2 doors! I would go with the Wyze lock! You can have 10 locks per bridge and the bridge can be 30-50 feet away from the lock and not right by the lock like with the August setup. The August setup requires 1 lock per bridge.
So, if the door sense does not detect you when you come up to the door, you have to pull out your phone or key to unlock the door?
Door sense is not what detects you. The lock uses its bluetooth to know when to auto-unlock. So, if your phone's bluetooth is turned on and everything is setup properly, the door should unlock when you approach it from outside. Door sense is what detects if the door is open, ajar, or closed.
is this compatible with apple home kit?
Yes it is compatible. Also with alexa.
Can the connect be used on an additional lock that is a 3rd gen (non pro) model to add Alexa and WiFi connectivity or is it only for the pro?
