The Smart Code touchpad smart lock with Home Connect technology enables the lock to wirelessly communicate with other devices in home. The lock allows the user (through a third party smart home controller) to remotely check the door lock status, lock or unlock the door and receive notifications via email or text. Yes, it matched my satin nickel door handles/dead bolts I had on my door that I got from Lowe’s. I just switched out the deadbolt part and they are a matching pair. :)
Can this lock be controlled from august home app? would be nice to group my smartlocks notifications together.
You need a Z-Wave controller (like SmartThings), and then you can control it from a compatible app.
Any idea if user codes can be remotely enabled/disabled with this?
I have mine connected to my Ring Alarm and I can add & remove user codes from the Ring app. It will be dependent on the app used.
What size is the interior portion? I have limited room due to encased blinds.
