These work perfectly
I was using a Broadlink RM pro to control my 5050 LED strip lights, but that required line of sight. I switched to these controllers, and now I can put them anywhere without having to worry about how I am going to get a signal to them. I also like the software that controls them, it has far more features than I expected.

Be warned, the listing is for an IR Remote controlled device, but it will come with RF Instead
I bought this product specifically because it was advertised as an IR Remote version of this WiFi LED Strip Controller, however it seems that the IR version is either no longer being manufactured or I was sent the wrong part, because I received the version with RF Remotes.
I already use several of the IR version of this controller in my home and I ordered this because I needed more of them and all of the others I found on Amazon seemed to have changed over to RF Remotes.
In the past I had a big problem with the RF Remote version of this product. My neighbors (apartment) have RF remotes for their TVs or something and anytime they turned the TV on or changed the channel it made my light strip turn on and strobe red green and blue. Imagine waking up to that several times a week and deciding that you would rather have the IR version of the controller.
Anyway, I am not happy that I was sent the RF version when IR was the only reason I chose this item in the first place. I will try this one out and see if that problem happens again, but be warned that the listing has not been updated to reflect the change in remote control methods.07/06/2022Verified Purchase -

No power supplies, Nor will you find anywhere that it tells you which exact power supplies you should use with it. Soon as they inform me which ones I should buy, I’ll change this review. Until then I bought some useless plastic.

Old technology. If you have a new router, DONT BUY
PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING!
This would of work great 2-3 years ago when they first came out!
Now with new intelligent internet routers not so much.
Back in the day at the back of your routers you had two options to connect to, a 5g the fastest and a 2g the slowest. This remotes required to connect to the 2g. Which in order to use them with the new routers you would have to walk out of your house/apartment to get one little bar which means the 2g signal would be activated on your new router. It such a pain!
New routers don’t have the the two separate 5g and 2g accounts anymore. There built in to one account. The closer you are to the router the stronger the signal(5g) therefore you would have to walk away from your router to connect to the built in 2g signal!
Not worth the hassle in my opinion .
