Frequently asked question
The MAC address is NOT listed on the bulbs. I had to download an app to connect the bulbs, and the MAC address is listed in the app under the device information.
No. Not out of the box. It’s only compatible with Alexa and Google Home. If you’re tech savvy, you can get it working with HomeKit using an application called HomeBridge on a Raspberry Pi though.
Yes it does Install their app on your device then synch it w/Alexa and you can control the bulbs individually or in a “group” varies the tons , the color, the brightness
You set up the account first with the bulb brand then you synch it with your home domitique (we do it in Alexa , echo dot, echo show...etc.. iphone)

Easy to install and set up with home assistant
These bulbs were easy to install and set up with my Alexa assistant. For energy Cost : one Bulb on the track lighting We keep on all the time for ambient light and also to see at night The Energy App states with an Average on time of 20 hours will run ,me $10.40 a year to run. The other lights on the track with an average on time of 2 hours per day will run me 0.80 cents per year ( per bulb) I have 5 bulbs so the total cost for the 4 that are only on for 2 hours a day will run me $3.20 a year. So that Plus the 5th bulb that stays on 20 hours gives me a grand total for the year for these 5 Bulbs of $13.60. Hope this helps anyone that may be wondering. Your cost may differ based on your electric company’s price per kwh, I believe mine is $0.227 per kwh.09/14/2022Verified Purchase
Colors do not match Hue lights
The bulbs work well, are as bright as I would expect (not as bright as standard bulbs but make up for it with the color temp adjustability), and are easy to pair and set up with Google Home. If these will be your only smart bulbs, then these should be fine.
If you run other smart bulbs from other brands, though, definitely be aware that the color temp does not match up exactly when you use the same Google Home color settings across the two brands of bulbs. I run Hue bulbs everywhere else in my house but these ones are like one shade warmer. Unfortunately for me it’s a dealbreaker as I had intended to run these in the same room with many Hue Play bars. They are capable of running cooler if you use the LE app, but there is no way I am going to go to that app to adjust the temp every time, and as far as I can tell with about half an hour of research there is no way to calibrate the colors in either the LE app or the Google Home app.
I will be returning to try other brands of smart bulbs for GU10 sockets. It’s rough that the Hue GU10 bulbs are $50 EACH and are right now completely sold out anyways.08/25/2022Verified Purchase
I love these* Read on
Smart bulbs are not something for everybody, they not complicated but they require a lot of steps to get them to work
1st you need to make sure your wifi is DUAL BAND or 2.4
2nd you need to open Alexa and teach her the bulb(brand) skill
3rd need to reset bulb (just on and off twice-should only flash ONCE)
4th on and off 5 times(one second interval) and leave it alone for 3 seconds
(Should start flashing quickly)
This is when the bulb is ready to pair with your wifi and you can only do this from the bulb app(is printed right on the box)
5th you probably pairing multiple bulbs so to make this work YOU CAN ONLY PAIR ONE AT THE TIME- So screw bulb in and out– DON’T use the switch cause you will reset the 1st one u already did.
6th once bulb is paired it will stop flashing and that’s when you can name the bulb with whatever you gonna call it with Alexa.
*if you change your password name or password you will have to do this ALL OVER AGAIN.

The Easiest Light Bulb to Use with to the App
I don’t have Alexa or Google Home but I was able to download the app and put the light bulb in outside. It was so easy to install and get it to work. I have the light on a timer and it works phenomenal! I’m now going to order the normal size light bulbs that I can use with the app and put on the timer as well. Whoever thought of these and made them thank you! It makes such a huge difference even when I am working at home!! I absolutely love them and I never thought I could like a light bulb so much!06/19/2022Verified Purchase
Unusable with Alexa
I have been using these lights in all our house for less than a year. We changed all our illumination to this brand. It has been working ok, until last night. Now when trying to control the lights using our Alexa devices it said that it had lost its connection to the devices. I tried to fix this problem by resetting the LampUX skill on the Alexa app but it was not available. I tried to get support without success. If I want to turn on and off the lights I have to use my Cel. In order to control my lights I have to use the LampUX proprietary app. This is useless. The rest of my family don’t want to do this, they got used to control the light using Alexa. I will update this review if things get fixed. But for now, it’s been more than 12 hour without service.
If you’re thinking on changing all your lights to this brand, as I did, please think it twice.
Update: it was a software problem, after a couple of days things went back to normal.06/16/2022Verified Purchase
Fantastic Lights (Once You Get Them Set Up)
I swear by these lights. I will buy them every opportunity that I have. My biggest problem is the installation process is a bit of a pain. You have to make sure that you have a certain type of Wi-Fi, you have to miraculously get them connected to the app. Once they are set up though, they are fantastic and you never have to reset them up again.04/06/2022Verified Purchase
