Can the LED lamp (ie. bulb) be replaced? What is the base size of bulb?
Not a bulb replacement. Would need to order a flat panel/lamp to replace. It would be as easy to replace as when you put it together.
Can you get this fan without the light kit? Does it have a satin nickel cover under the blades as an option?
This fan comes with the light kit included but unfortunately doesn't seem to come with a cover plate if you prefer not to use it.
i have a 10' ceiling. Does this include a 12' downrod?

Yes, this fan provides a lot of airflow even on medium. It’s actually too much airflow on high for me.

Great product, owner's manual could be more clear with checking assembly of the unit.
I assembled this fan and had it professionally installed. During assembly, I did not align the reverse switch to the upper housing cover. I called Fanimation and Brendon gave a solution path. I then found the toggle with the help of a neighbor. Great fan, quiet. Nice design. I did not use the hand-held remote and receiver unit but had it installed with the Lutron Maestro Fan Control and Light Dimmer for ceiling fans with LED lighting. A tiny bit of light ghosting when the fan is operating and the light switch is off.

Expensive fan that doesn’t work
This fan has stopped working less than a year after purchasing. First as others mentioned, the light would turn on mysteriously. Then it began turning off when it was on for more than five minutes. We suspected it was overheating. We turned the fan on with the light and both would turn off. Now it doesn’t work at all. I wouldn’t recommend.
