- EASY VOICE CONTROL – Pair directly with Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, or 1st and 2nd generation Echo Plus immediately out of the package for easy voice command of connected devices. No additional equipment is required for use with these Echo models. Other Alexa and Google Assistant products can also be used for voice control when connected through a compatible Zigbee hub.
- CONVENIENT DESIGN – Improved components reduced the housing depth by up to 20 percent compared to previous Zigbee models and eliminated the need for heat tabs. QuickFit enhancements are the ideal smart solution for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations or any other application with limited space.
- RAPID INSTALLATION WITH SIMPLEWIRE – Auto-detecting line/load terminals support fast and easy installation by identifying line and load wires and configuring the dimmer accordingly. Dual ground ports, which are offset to avoid switch box mounting screws, support daisy-chaining in multi-gang setups.
- VERSATILE USE – Requires in-wall installation with hardwired connections – neutral wire REQUIRED. Supports 3-way and other multi-switch configurations when paired with up to four add-on switches – model 46200. The white, toggle-style switch illuminates to identify location and status – wallplate not included. Works with dimmable LEDs and CFLs as well as incandescent and halogen bulbs.
- TRUSTED NETWORK – Zigbee 3. 0 is forward and backward compatible and does not use well-known network keys, which allows reliable, safe home automation. Certified device-to-device interoperability and a proven mesh network eliminate single points of failure while supporting large networks. The smart dimmer also extends your Zigbee signal by up to 150ft.

Frequently asked question
Each Zigbee device is a range extender. If your switch is too far away, you could install another Zigbee device (such as another switch) between your Studio and the remote switch. Signals will hop from one Zigbee device to the next in order to reach the target switch.
The dimmer range is not adjustable.

Works great with Home Assistant
As others have already said, installation was easy. Setup was under 10 minutes start to finish. The holes on the back of the switch used to insert wires and tighten down are perfect. Especially if you are connecting one switch from another.
Once everything was connected it was recognized within seconds by my Home Assistant instance with ZigBee USB dongle. The switch was setup automatically and indicated as a ‘light’ by home assistant.
The blue LED light in the ‘flipper’ of the switch is really not that noticeable and so far rarely lights up anyway -but the box says there is a way to turn that off if you want to… I didn’t feel that I needed to bother. Bet you won’t either. Plus, it’ll be handy if I ever need to use the blue LED light to identify the device through software.
The switch under the flipper is an ‘air gap.’ you use it to turn off the device when changing out LED bulbs on the device. The white strip next to the flipper doesn’t do anything, as far as I can tell. I’m sure it does, but I haven’t discovered it’s function.
The way you turn on off the switch is just a quick lift up or down. The switch doesn’t quite ‘toggle’ like regular cheap wall switches, but I kind of like it! To raise or dim the lights you just hold the switch up or down.
Finally, The switch fit very well in my switch box which was about 1/3 filled with wires. Plenty of room.10/01/2022Verified Purchase -
This device REQUIRES a neutral at both 3way switch boxes, and a specific second switch.
As an electrician, I found their typical 3way diagram to be a misleading. While they accurately document the need for a neutral, it is not necessary in typical 3way installations. Please be sure to check for a neutral before buying this device. In some cases you may need to open a wall to get a neutral in the switch box.

Works as described. Great zigbee switch to pair with your echo
We installed a new chandelier and wanted to use Ecosmart bulbs so we could match our preferred light color preference and we could get the Edison clear glass bulbs. The smart bulbs for candelabra are not very pretty and our light fixture has exposed bulbs.
I’ve been using Alexa for smart home control for years including lights and plugs but this was the first time I went to try a switch. The switch itself is very nice. The controls are solid. You push up to turn on and hold up to make it brighter, tap down to turn off and hold down to dim. Pretty easy. It also paired immediately with no issues.
If you have a 3-way or 3-pole switch, make sure you buy the GE add-on switch. 3-way/pole smart switches behave much differently than regular 3-pole switches. Do your homework and make sure you understand what you’re doing. You’ll probably want a voltage meter. My setup was a little confusing. I ended up on day one, just drawing out how the lines were configured since there are several different types of configurations. I then found a GE forum where someone took a lot of time to draw out proper install options for 3-pole switches in different configurations when using the enbrighten switches. This person saved me from having to hire an electrician or spend another whole day figuring out the wiring. Definitely check out both GE’s videos on youtube on how to install and then check out this forum: https://community.smartthings.com/t/faq-ge-3-way-wiring/74962?source_topic_id=101155
My setup didn’t match the GE video which is why I had to go digging. At the end of the day, it works great and it’s done right.07/11/2022Verified Purchase -
Simple solution for conversion to smart switches in 3-way scenarios. Easy to wire.
Simple wiring, good price. Dimming action is a little faster than id like for fine adjustments.

Needs the Enbrighten Skill to work properly.
Physical installation was a snap. Pairing was a bit more difficult, until I realized that these switches need the Enbrighten Skill enabled on the Alexa app. On I enabled the skill, and put the switches ( I installed 3) in pairing mode, Alexa discovered them in about 10 seconds. So far so good.

Easy to install and integrate with my Alexa for 'sunrise alarm'
I originally wanted a sunrise alarm. However, my geek side said ‘why not automate the existing light in the ceiling fan’. Enter the Enbrighten Zigbee dimmer switch. I did have to upgrade my Alexa dot to Alexa 4th gen w/ built in Zigbee hub. I got that on sale and am playing with automating other items now (like flameless candles via smart IR blaster).
‘Alexa, set alarm for 6 AM with light’ and bam… at about 5:45 she’ll start ratcheting up the brightness.04/13/2022Verified Purchase
