No it doesn’t. Completely cloud based
Does it tell you on the app when the battery is low or needs to be charged?
Yes the battery flashes red
How long does battery last
Depends on use. Mine normally stay charged for a couple of months. If it’s in a high traffic area and the motion sensor is triggered often then the battery will drain faster.
Will this charge with a solar panel and if so, what part number solar panel?
You can try with the Lorex solar panels for their wifi cameras. Or Arlo brand solar panels for their cameras. Toucan doesn't make their own panels.
