Initially misleading, good result
The instructions guide you to install some junky FLSNT app that requires an account with a Chinese company. However they do work with the ‘real’ Smart Life app, so I’m only removing one star for the initial waste of my time. This was a near miss 1 star rage review.

I'd buy again now that I know how to program
The bulbs were reluctant to enter programming mode no matter what I tried. I tried for so long on one of the bulbs that my arm got tired of flipping the switch. When it finally went into programming mode the ‘Smart Life’ app said it could never find it. However, when I waited roughly 1 minute the Amazon Alexa app found it. The Amazon App couldn’t find it without using the Smart Life app first. After Amazon Alexa finds it then you’re good to go! It works great after that.

What a Waste
Even though this product says it works with Alexa, it does not. There is no option to give third party control to Alexa. I wasted two hours trying to get this to connect. This is false advertisement. DO NOT BUY!

They DO work with alexa
These lights are beautiful in person. Alexa was a little tricky to set up. The directions for setting it up could have definitely been more straight forward but once i got them set up I haven’t had a single issue.
