- SimpleWire – Auto-detecting line/load terminals support fast installation by identifying line and load wires and configuring the switch accordingly. Dual ground ports, which are offset to avoid switch box mounting screws, support daisy-chaining in multi-switch setups.
- Voice control – Enjoy the convenience of voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa when connected through a compatible Z-Wave hub.
- Switch upgrade – Easily replace any standard in-wall switch equipped with a neutral wire to remotely turn ON/OFF and create schedules for a wide range of fixtures.

Frequently asked question
Same issue for me. Pretty much one of them dies every time my power goes out and then back on (presumably from the power surge).
Yes, these are “simple” on/off switches with no dimming capability, However, they do have Z-wave wireless connectivity, so not really that “simple”. I use them with my Hubitat hub.
The info shown on the label is 'incandescent load 960 watts.
You will not need 2 Z-Wave switches. You will only need 1 Z-Wave Switch and 1 Add-on Switch for a 3-way installation.

Don't buy for 3 way switch applications. They don't work.
You are required to buy their special ‘add on’ switches rather than be able to use them with standard 3 or 4-way switches. Moreover, the addon switches require a neutral connection, which regular 3 ways technically do not, so you may not have them in all your 3 way switch locations. My recommendation is to buy a different brand for use with standard 3 way switches. I have several Zooz Zen76 switches installed. I bought these thinking they’d work the same but they don’t. They try to lock you in with their proprietary ‘add on’ 3-way switches. My opinion is that ‘3-way ready’ is false advertising.

A good switch
A little easier to work with than GE.

It Works
Bottom line up front – it’s better than being vendor locked into some third party cloud service so it meets my requirements.
I use them with MQTT and Home Assistant, and also with Google Assistant. With Google Assistant, the response is a little slow or google replies with ‘the device is offline’ despite the command working, however I think the latency is with my specific setup and not the switch itself.
It did take me 6-7 tries to get it synced up to my RPI hub, but again I don’t know if that my fault or the switches.07/25/2022Verified Purchase -
Good value and easy to configure.
These are the same Jasco units that GE, Enbrighten, & UltraPro all offer, just relabels. Their firmware may have a different ID, but they function the same. I found in Hubitat that assigning them as Generic Z-Wave Smart Switch gives you the most options and control. These are also 2nd gen or 500 series Z-Wave Plus S2 type units, not as fancy as Aeotec’s 700 series smart switch, but those are harder to find and are 3rd gen or 700 series units at ~$60 a piece. I went w/ the Aeotec for one switch only, replacing my pool pump’s Intermatic clock w/ a combo HVAC contactor and Aeotec switch. Two reasons, 700 series has longer range, and higher temp tolerances (Phoenix), 50C vs. 40C Jascos. Using Quickfit-type switches is worth less aggravation.

Reliable in long distance
The switch worked well for my application which has a long distance from the hub. It is much better than Zigbee which could only work intermittently.

Seem better quality
Seem better quality than the ge brand of z wave switches. I used to buy them at lowes but they stopped selling them. I had issues with those. These have been great so far. No issues with installation
