If I use this light as an outdoor light by the front door that comes on at dusk. Without using the app will the bulb change colors automatically?
No, using the app is the only way to set a certain color.

Works fantastically! You will have to install a free app to get full usage of the color changing and dimming features, but the basic light controls work with Alexa perfectly.

It took a while to get them to work with Alexa. But I finally got it and they work great. And the small size of the bulb is pretty much as bright as the larger ones I have. I would recommend these.

Great bulbs for about a month.
These were great bulbs for a month or so, then the RGB stopped working properly. The bulbs would no longer do any variation of Red. U put it on Red, the bulb would turn blue instead. So I swapped it out for another one in the pack, that one, when u put it on Red, it would flash between red and green… red, green, red, green like a Christmas strobe light or something. Annoying. My whole house is smart RGB bulbs… these are the ONLY ones that I have had any issues. Won’t buy again!
