2700 K, it is not day light, not bright. This does per spec. Awesome bulb Hazzle free setup. Just connected to my IOT Hub in less than 20 secs. Highly recommend this product. Must buy..
Leave the lamp switched to 'on'.... Link the new bulb, smart phone app, hub, (however you choose to control)... Then the bulb responds to the app.. (Both the app and the 3-way switch need to be 'on' at the same time for the light to turn on)... Dim the bulb with your app, not the lamp switch. *I think so anyway.. Ha!
Yes and no, If you are expecting to control the dimmer thru Alexa, it does not work that way. You must turn on the lamp ( leaving it on) then tell Alexa to turn it off or on. You can, once it's on, manually control the built-in dimmer switch.

Limitless Lighting, These Are NOT.
I was initially attracted to the idea that these were specifically made to work through Alexa, basically using Alexa as their ‘hub,’ without requiring another device. I do like no-hub required lighting solutions. Also, I was intrigued by the Bluetooth 5.0 BLE MESH technology that would theoretically make each ‘light bulb act as a range extender, enabling simple whole-home installations.’ Their words not mine. Bottom line, you will get away with setting up 3-10 of these bulbs without connection issues, which require you to most of the time delete them from your devices in the Alexa app and re-pair them on a daily basis.
So pairing them is quite simple as these were designed to ONLY be used with a compatible Alexa device. I have several of these Skynet devices around my home and am familiar with adding and deleting devices. Simply screw in your bulb, go to add a device within in your Alexa app (you can do this via voice command, but it works better using the app), follow the on-screen instructions, and voilà. There some lights I had to attempt to add two or three times, but eventually they added successfully. I did this another 20 or 32 times.
I started running into issues when I added bulb 12 or so. Right after I added that bulb, every new Bluetooth bulb started indicating that it was unresponsive within the Alexa app. I tried giving my voice commands and nothing happened. At this point, I turned off the light switches to the affected lights, waited about a minute, turned them back on, and one by one they started working again. I though it was maybe just a small glitch. I also decided at this point to see if I would have any issues over night with the bulbs I had already installed.
The next day, all the lights were working fine to start the day. Late that day, I continued replacing the remaining bulbs in the house. Every couple of bulbs, would repeat the issue I had the day before. At first, it was one or two lights, but it progressed to all the lights becoming unresponsive. Turning off the light switch didn’t work any more. I had to unplug all my Alexas, wait one minute, and then plug them all back in. That was not going to be something that I was adding to my daily routine. The point of automation is to make life a little more convenient. Therefore, I started putting in my old Wi-Fi bulbs. Once the connected Bluetooth bulbs was reduced to about 10, they all started working pretty well again. In fact, I do have 4 of the Candelabra Bluetooth bulbs that are still connected and have not had a single connection issue in weeks.
This product is TWO-STARS because the bulbs themselves are relatively easy to setup and seem to pair well with Alexa devices (so long as you don’t pair too many), but after that they fall short on all other claims. Most importantly their most repeated claim in the listing is that due to their BLE MESH technology that you will able to install these bulbs throughout the entire home. Based on my experience, this would only be true if your house needed 10 or less of these bulbs to provide lighting throughout the entire home. I personally have returned to using my Wi-Fi bulbs that I was using previously and have never been happier. Ultimately, these bulbs are extremely limited.07/31/2022Verified Purchase
Adequate Poor Customer Service
The bulbs arrived and paired with our network with no problems. The Alexa intervention is good but I have noticed that my GE bulbs don’t seem to impair as often.
Five days after set up the bulb in the hall stairway wouldn’t turn on. My partner and I figured it had unpaired. I turned the light switch off and back on. Nothing. Tried in a different fixture again nothing. It looks fine but appears dead. The bulbs do have a three year warranty so I contacted customer support received a message asking for more details and haven’t heard anything else even after a second email to them.06/29/2022Verified Purchase
Smartthings Setup - not so easy
First of all, looks like at least some bulbs are sold refurbished: mine was sealed, but the inner packaging was damaged, and the bulb has a number written with a marker on it.
Second, I spent couple hours trying to connect it to the Smartthings hub: it didn’t come with a factory mode, and I had to factory reset it. And here comes the trick: manufacturer’s instructions are not right! Manufacturer says the following: turn it off/on 3 times. What I actually had to do:
1. Find a location with a really good switch. Location where the bulb is connected through a dimmer won’t work. Location where the switch is really cheap and not fast won’t work
2. Turn it off/on 10 times really fast. Not 3 times, but at least 10. It took several attempts to determine the best speed to do that, but it’s not some lazy flipping, you have to be full in the process
After that, the bulb works fine. Sengled asks to disable the Zigbee security features, to make sure it reconnects after a power outage, and I followed this instruction, because I don’t want to reset it again if this happens.06/24/2022Verified Purchase

Super Easy Setup - Recommended
Out of the box it took only 2-min to set up and worked immediately with a bluetooth connection on a nearby Echo Show.
My patio light fixture is far away from the router and the previous bulbs I had (from another manufacturer) were constantly losing their wifi connection.
These bulbs were very expensive however they worked exactly as advertised and with minimal effort.
Also the bulbs are much brighter that the 40w bulbs they replaced. The brightness can of course be controlled by the Alexa app or it with your voice.
I would not hesitate to recommend them.04/04/2022Verified Purchase
