Easy to use light switch that works with or without Alexa
My old timer light switch went out after using it for 10 years or so. And when I went to replace it, I decided on a smart solution. Honestly, all I was looking for was something that could turn on and off the switch on a timer (at different times during the day), and it does that well.
I was able to quickly install this like any outlet or switch.
I then downloaded the app on my phone that can control this. From that app, I can base event on time, sunup, sundown, the weather, and other triggers. I had multiple triggers on each day (on at 4am, off 5 minutes after sunup, on 5 minutes before sundown, off at 11pm).
I also linked this in with my alexa devices easily. So I can turn it on and off via voice request to Alexa if needed. Of course, I can manually turn it on and off via the actual wall switch as well.
Honestly, I am sure there are alot of other features here that I am not even using. I am sure I will play around with them later.
